Aurora is a rock band from Memphis TN. Comprised of members with vastly different musical backgrounds and interests, Aurora creates a familiar, yet fresh and creative musical experience. Formed in the summer of 2005, Aurora rose from the ashes of former local bands, only to spend months confined to intense jam sessions and song writing expeditions in the confines of their mid Memphis practice space. The main goal of Aurora is to provide a full musical experience, spanning the spectrum of rock music. With a focus on positivity and self improvement, Aurora’s message is one of empowerment and self preservation.
